Menopause

Menopause is a normal part of the aging process in women. During menopause hormone fluctuations may change from moment to moment and cause many undesirable symptoms. Some of the more common symptoms include hot flashes, night sweats, poor sleep, mood changes, vaginal dryness, and decrease pelvic tone. Menopause is also associated with accelerated bone loss (osteoporosis) and assessment and treatment is necessary, if this condition is suspected. Modifing Lifestyle habits that limit exposure to xenohormones is beneficial. During menopause proper nutrition and daily activity are essential. Natural heath supplements and/or bioidentical hormones may also be necessary to help the body regain its balance and restore quality of life.
